Gnus is so cool [Aug. 30th, 2002|06:32 pm]
Edward O'Connor
[Feeling |pleased]
[Listening |Weezer - Pink Triangle]

Oort Gnus rocks my world.

With a Group parameter banner of "-+ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor [-~]+>\\(.\\|\n\\)*", reading the Corman Lisp mailing list and other such Yahoo! Groups is actually bearable.

Not to mention the utter awesomeness of W k (gnus-article-outlook-deuglify-article) and W Q (gnus-article-fill-long-lines) in the Summary buffer.

Fast-forward four years

johnsu01's updated this regexp for Yahoo Groups' latest footer:

\(^Yahoo! Groups Links\(.\|

Thanks, johnsu01!

Updated version, to match the new massive block:

\(^Yahoo! Groups Links\(.\|

...would this be, um, unethical?

imagine people started to remove the GNU propaganda bundled with gnu's $free$ software.

how about not using yahoo groups if you object its own promotion and terms?

after all, aren't you guys very ethically concerned?

i mean, if you keep to yourself is one thing... to publicaly promote the removal of the free server's terms is...

Unethical is them forcing it on you

Why would it be unethical to do as I wish with messages I am viewing on my own machine?
