Would have been cool if...

At the end, I was really hoping that Nimoy-Spock would lie and introduce himself to Quinto-Spock as his cousin Selek.

That would have been even more awkward/forced than the "I have been and always will be your friend" line was.

He should have said, "I previously was, and now may or may not eventually become".
