/me impatiently waits for baseball season to arrive

The San Diego Padres will be playing the SDSU baseball team at Petco Park on Wednesday, March 30th, at 7 PM. This is a good (and cheap ($15 for the best seats, goes down from there)) opportunity to check out San Diego's new ballpark (which I inexcusably missed last season) and to see some fun baseball.

Is anyone interested in going? You know you want to. Tickets are available here.

[info]kirinqueen normally has class Wednesday nights, but it looks like the game falls during SDSU's spring break, so I think she'll be able to make it.

After the comments here and talking to my roommate Michelle, I've decided that the best thing to do is to buy a block of seats and resell to whoever wants to come. I'll pick them up tomorrow or Friday, and post how many I have. Yay!

Sweet! I got your message a few minutes ago but since I'm deep in the bowels of the Business Administration and Mathematics building it wouldn't let me listen to it so I could see what you were talking about. :) I wonder what kind of record the Aztec baseball team has.

I'd like to go. I like the fact that I can get BBQ at the park. And my other favorite thing is the park at the park with the mini baseball diamond and the staff who toss balls for the kids to hit/catch. Coolness.

Where are your seats? Or are you hoping to buy in a block? I'll get you some ducats soonest if that's the plan.
