| Coincidence? |
[Jul. 29th, 2008|01:32 pm] |
|
Earlier this morning, and despite many sensible reasons not to, California's Department of Motor Vehicles decided to issue me a driver's license. Shortly afterwards, Southern California was rocked by an earthquake. |

kirinqueen and I just went on a quick trip back east, which included spending the night in several places:

- Lebanon, NH
The reason for the trip. Pictures will be posted to flickr (his, hers) soon. |

| Up for something tonight? |
[Jun. 19th, 2008|01:20 pm] |
On my own tonight as kirinqueen has plans. Contemplating heading to Stout, Ritual Tavern, or some such. Anyone interested?
Oh, who am I kidding. I'm going to Stout. Be there around 7:30. |

| dammit. |
[May. 2nd, 2008|11:25 am] |
Before packing for Seattle I'd decided not to pack a kilt, and not to go to the Utilikilts store this time.
But, well, today is Kilt Day, kirinqueen and I are but blocks from the utilikilts store, and they're having a 40% off sale.
I'm not sure I can resist.
[Edit: I gave in, and so did Erin. Do you remember when you were a kid and got new shoes, how you'd leave the shoe store with your old shoes in the box? The utilikilts store is kinda like that, but with your pants.] |

| 7th annual St. Patrick's Day party |
[Mar. 4th, 2008|05:15 pm] |
kirinqueen and I will be having our 7th annual St. Patrick's Day party [eventful entry] at Casa O'Connor on Saturday, March 15th, at 7 PM. You should come! Some photos from previous years:
Participation in the Irish pentathlon, while optional, isn't discouraged. Speaking of the pentathlon, maddox3 negotiated a modification to the rules for this year: for those of you who can't stand stout, cider will be an acceptable substitute.
Also, as the party falls on the Ides of March, I'll relax my usual policy of refusing entry to toga-wearing folk. (I didn't realize I had such a usual policy until just now.)
I've been pretty spotty about posting invites here. Past parties include 2002 (recap), 2004, 2005, and 2007. |
